A fine quality Davenport pearlware jug in the Chinese taste, C1830.
The jug has been enamelled in black with an ochre edge to the rim and inside the handle. This has been over painted in enamels with floral and gaming and musical motifs. The base is stamped in blue with the Davenport upper case mark, C1815-1830. Height 132mm (5.25 inches)
