A rare Davenport stone china breakfast cup and saucer in the Japanese taste, C1820.
The decoration consists mainly of Japanesque floral motifs and is marked on the base of the pair as pattern number 659. Both items also carry the standard Davenport stone china mark for C1805-1820. The cup is 85mm high (3.3 inches) and 106mm (4.25 Inches) wide at the rim. The saucer is 170mm (6.7 inches) wide.
