Early Terracotta Art Pottery Vase by Harry Juniper
Form is globular on a flattened base, plain chimney pot neck with globular body scratched all over with a combed effect. The main decoration is three large dandelion heads scratched into the body.
A rare and early find for this potter, now based at Bidecombe Pottery and more famous for his slipware, which is influenced by the commemorative slipware of the 17thC N. Devonshire Potteries. height. 270mm. (10.62 inches)
