Of deep oval form and possibly unique. Approx. 315mm x 240mm. Decorated with a hand painted Morning Glory (Convolvulus) and bands of guilding. Brown ribbon and anchor mark.
T. A. Locket, the famous ceramics and Davenport expert and Antiques Roadshow expert viewed this piece c1985 and suggested that it was probably unique, dates from c1820. In fine condition.
