Of octagonal form in the chinese manner with two man bridge willow pattern. C1805. Extremely rare. (2)
These the plates M. Mason developed to replace the lost Chinese imports from the 1790s. One has two radial but stable cracks, the other has one, but otherwise in excelllent condition. Diameter. 235mm. (9.25 inches)
