Octagonal form, serpent handles in Japanese taste. Sizes range Height. 172mm. (6.8 inches) to 90mm. (3.54 inches) All jugs underglaze grey-blue mark DAVENPORT STONE CHINA central anchor. 1805-20.
Largest jug has three staples stablising a crack around side near base which are very difficult to find. These do not affect raritry and value as in many cases collectors prefer their honesty, as opposed to restoration. Probably unique.
