English stopperless decanter C1690-1715, of rare form.
Form is typical of long shaft and globe but is neither a compressed onion nor a mallet, being in form of a bell, and potentially unique as not illustrated in The Decanter, by Andy McConnell. Height. 235mm. (9.25 inches) Base kicked with rough pontil.
