Late Georgian, with a heavy base and the pontilled base removed by full polishing. Striations and nicks and knocks to the bowl from a glass seeing extensive use but in remarkably good condition.
Height 135mm. (5.32 inches) The metal of a bright, grey colouring. Such functional glasses have only survived in relatively small numbers and few appear on the market in the 21st century.
