The drawn trumpert form is rare but typically on a firing foot. The metal is of a pleasing, grey lead colour with a hint of blue to lilac. Striations and tool marks.
At 256 grams in weight and with a broad foot it is likely that this example was made as a ships’ glass. It has a rough pontil and heavy foot rim wear.
