Mid 19thC Whisky Tumbler of Moulded Form
Form octagonal at base with a facetted and press moulded design of rounded turrets and wide footed base in exceptionally fine condition. Fire polished and functional.
Height 96mm. (3.78 inches) A rare example of a very early tumbler made probably after the abolition of the glass tax in 1845. Bright and clear with some lead content. Manchester or Birmingham manufacture.
