Six sections with base cast, chased in baroque style, baroque handle. Extremely rare and early. Toast racks are credited with earliest date of 1770s.
Slight buckling of base at corners but in excellent condition for age. Marked under base at one end with armoured forearm holding an eastern dagger and at other end with a coronet. Length 192mm. (7.56 inches) Height 160mm. (6.29 inches) Wt. 18 oz. troy.
